Workshop

For tools, motors and controls whose starting behaviour matters as much as energy consumption.

Sources and methodology

Source-based desk research and explicit calculations; no hands-on testing claimed. Missing values remain unknown. Installation compatibility needs a separate assessment.

Typical loads

Separate lighting and electronics from compressors, extraction, welders and machine tools. Record single- versus three-phase supply and startup sequences rather than assuming every motor starts together.

System architecture

Use an essential-control backup where full machine backup is impractical. Any motor supply, VFD or generator interface needs compatible phase configuration and protection; emergency-stop behaviour must remain safe after power returns.

Illustrative sizing

A 300 W control-and-lighting load for 2 hours is 0.6 kWh AC, about 0.82 kWh nominal at the example loss factors. A 3 kW motor is a separate power and starting-current problem, not simply another 3 kWh battery requirement.

Solar and generator

Solar can offset daytime energy but does not remove the inverter or grid starting-power constraint. A generator must be checked for the load step and power quality required by controls.

Frequently asked questions

Is this a final installation recommendation?

No. Verify model manuals, actual loads, protection and site conditions with a qualified professional. Calculations and equipment classes are preliminary planning aids.

Where do I buy and who sets the price?

Purchase is with the external supplier, who controls price, delivery, inventory and returns. Confirm delivery to Romania before ordering. Commercial disclosure →
